@ Peter - The commish turned a couple of them into tools for the league, although I'm not sure that they're on the league page.

My financial projection spreadsheet was something I shared with a few newer GMs. Pretty basic stuff - you probably had something similar.

A couple other tools with analyzing draftees to force seemingly inferior draftees further up on the draft board. This actually had a pretty good success rate in finding hidden gems - and was finally getting decently refined when I left the league.

Why didn't I share some of this stuff with you - because you were already running rings around me in the league!

@ John - Yeah, it takes a lot of work to have a decent team. Within this group of 32 GMs, an extremely high percentage were very dedicated, and the average intelligence level was quite high. Real baseball in great, but there's that stupid "offseason" thing. I am a baseball fan first and foremost - the other sports just fill the dead time. Except for luge, which totally kicks ass.

These sim leagues are a lot of work. I used to play on whatifsports.com but I got so frustrated by it that I gave up. It just required so much work to even have a decent team. I decided to just focus on real baseball.

I never saw these tools.

This league is how I met Kosmo and outside of that it has been a lot of fun. I am still the GM of the Astros (not my real life favourite team) and have been since the beginning. The league is now in year 2043 and I have had a lot success despite never playing the real Mogul game and not using tools.

I mainly manage on gut and pray for luck.
