Not only is Boston's park a better park for hitter, but Bay has better hitters around him, so teams can't just pitch around him. The Dodgers might be able to weather the storm and still be in contention after 50 games, get Manny back for the stretch run, and save 9M. After all, they do have Juan Pierre to plug in the spot, not some journeyman outfielder (yeah, Pierre does have flaws in his game, but you could do much worse for a replacement player). Remind me again why is was such a good idea to give Manny a PLAYER option for 2010? I'm pulling for Cleveland to win a title. Hopefully that would keep Lebron in Cleveland.
